i don't know a whole hell of a lot about the show but as far as i remember Pickles was first based off Devin but they had to change him a little because the resemblence was a little too close.

Yes sir you are correct. but i dont think it was based off of devin, it just happened to look like him.
Another fun fact is devin did some voices in metalocalypse.

There was a pic with initial version of Dethklok blokes posted here some time ago, and Pickles looked _exactly_ like Dev. I think Tracy made them change him a bit.
