2 years ago I did a little experiment. I tried to create the Devin sound by only using my guitar and the music program reason. It´s called "sympathy for the devin" and here is the link:
http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/8/6/2 ... 0devin.mp3 You´ll hear I´m not a singer and maybe the whole track sucks but had to release it to the world
Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reminds me a lot of Physicist. And I think it's fairly close to the Dev's sound. I like the title, too.

Yes, "Namaste" was my mixing reference.
Please don´t take this too serious. Just a little Devin fan who tried to get the devin sound. I don´t expect anybody to to say that it´s genious... I did it just for fun...

Well, it got me to listen to
Physicist yesterday, and it had been quite awhile since I'd heard it, so you must have gotten something right.

Reminds me of Tetsuo's freakout in his hospital room in Akira. The bit with the freaky bear and rabbit and all the milk.
Think I might watch it again.....

That was pretty neat actually. I think you accomplished what you were going for. Methinks you should try your hand at some more. I had actually tried doing similar things, but with guitarpro. Not the greatest tool for song making but I thought it was kind of fun.

Er...IT WAS good, but made me laugh for some reason. XD
What were you saying? sounded like a dog barking at first then something else. ANYWAY, yes, it was very namaste like, fast paced.

if it made you laugh - perfect!!!!
There´s no profound message in this song. Just a couple "lalalala"s...

Very close to the sound of namaste, just make the kickdrums louder and your nearly there!
