March '08 UK tour???

Time to peddle the rumour mill a bit, hopefully someone can confirm/ deny this.
It seems my friend was perusing myspace and came across a band claiming to be supporting 'Devin Townsend' in Cardiff in March. I guess the timing would make a lot of sense, Dev hasn't toured for at least a year (I think)?
If this has any measurement of fact to it, it'd be most fan - dabby - doozy.

I am sure that this is not true. My guess is it is an old post that somebody has read as if it were new.

Yea, I assumed it was probably untrue, but it was in the bands gig listings, which I think get automatically deleted when the date passes?
Hope beyond hope though eh?

i think the easiest, most soon even where there would be a possibility of seeing the Dev on stage would be the Zimmer's Hole show that we're jsut announced
but thats a stretch

Aha! Link, and true enough, there it is... March 15th, admittedly 'TBC', but there must've been at least a small amount of interest expressed by the Townsend camp?

Well if you want to know what's true and what's not, why not send them one of these MySpace messages and ask? Perhaps give Tracy a poke if that doesn't clear things up.
