It's just a stylized way to write the acronym for Devin Townsend Band (DTB). I don't think there's anything deeper into it

I remember when Dev showed us about 3 different logo's and then he finally decided on the one that we have. We all thought that was a good choice and i think it's pretty cool looking. I'll be getting my Tattoo of it soon....

I been thinking about getting the SYL logo, DTB logo, and ZH logo tattoed on my leg. Not sure yet

Y'know, of all the tattoo possibilities...I think the DTB logo would be a top contender for me. Either that or the Terria "T" That album completely changed the way I listen to music.

i'm getting the SYL and thinking about the DTB i really wanted the terria T but thought some morons might just mistake it for an inverted crucafix which i really couldn't be arsed with

Ive got the SYL logo on my arm...I would get the DTB one because i prefer the music but i looks kinda goofy to me, well i dont think it would make a gd tattoo...

So I suggest that SYL logo is the same - arranged S, Y and L letters. Am I right?
