Old Blabbermouth news

I can't believe that Alien was originally conceived as an EP with live stuff and covers. That's crazy!

In any case, what happened to this stuff? Obviously Dev's still doing the puppet show (under the same name?), but is he still writing Temperamental? What about Kermit? Did that turn into Devlab?

Also, is he still doing the music for Fallout 3? How's Bethesda doing with that project, anyway? Can they handle a project of that depth (on that yucky gamebryo rubbish)?

Yeah, I read that, than updated the Alien entry on Wikipedia

Completely missed the Fallout 3 thing. and The Heavy Metal Puppet thing is indeed the same as Ziltoid, I think. I remember Henrik telling me he announced a puppet thing awhile ago before the more recent news

The Fallout soundtrack was eventually incorporated into Devlab.

Where did you learn this?

I would still be great if somebody could find a way of ripping the soundtrack from that game. I am very curious to hear it but dont really want to buy a new console just for that purpose.

Another company (Bethesda, known for Morrowind and Oblivion and other mainstream crap) got the license for Fallout 3 and is developing it as we speak.
They aren't using any of the old plans and assets (...such as music), as far as I know.
(Un)Funny thing is, I hear Fallout 3 was around 75-85% finished when they cancelled it. :?

You know, I never realised it before, but Track09 on DevLab sounds a LOT like the ambient music in Fallout 1 and 2. :)

So, let's see... we've got Kermit, an acoustic album, and opeth-esque SYL album, The Mighty Masturbator, a puppet show, a book, canceled video game music.... G'damn!

I can't really see Bethesda doing a good job at a turn-based game like Fallout. Oblivion's world felt downright tiny.

Yeah, there's a good chance it'll end up being a sequel in name only.

An "Oblivion with guns", as it were.

2 battle music tracks, would that be the character yelling "Hot melt glue gun, I'm gonna melt you guys" upon attack?
