Hey Everyone,

Can't believe I never announced this yet but the DTB will be playing a one off show with Kings X on April 24th here in Vancouver at The Red Room ! It's going to be an awesome show. This is totally confirmed and will not be cancelled. I booked the show with a local booking agent, posters are made and it's all a go !

This show was supposed to be the kick off show for our European tour, but as you all know that is'nt happening anymore. It will be just Kings X and us playing 2 full sets. No opening bands. Tickets are available at the following places :

$20 Advance/$25 at the door

Scrape Records
17 West Broadway
Vancouver

Charts Studios
5385 Lane St.
Burnaby

Scratch Records
726 Richards St.
Vancouver

Everyone in the DTB are Kings X fans, so this show is going to be really special for the fans and us. Come on out and have a good time, this is a show you won't want to miss !!!

All the best,

RVP

My ABSOLUTE 2 favorite bands in the same venue in the same night? Oh my god, this is the best/worst news EVER! Best, because the concert is going to be the best ever, worst because I won't be able to go.....

DAMNIT!

Please, for the love of ALL that is good and right in this world, find some means of recording this. If I have to buy a fucking Victrola and listen to Thomas Edison's recordings for 3 days straight to be given a chance to listen to it, I will do it....

Wow. Sounds awesome. I hope that it will be a great experience for everyone in the DTB and that it will at least make a little up for the not happening European tour.

Any chance for a new "official bootleg" type of release of a DTB concert through HDR?

I'm sick to my stomach that I am unable to see this. My two all time favorite artists on the stage and I'm 2000 miles away with no funds to make it happen.

RECORD THE SHOW!

Couple of iPods fitted with iTalks and you're good to go.

This could deserve some professional dvd recording, depending on the size of venue. Anybody would buy the disc for both bands.
If the place is big enough to facilitate some cameras without disrupting the show, this could be epic.

Gaurenteed there are 3 fans who own real digital cameras that can shoot the entire show collectively - edit between angles, acquire mix from the board - release for fans!

I'm weeping openly at the idea of that becoming reality, and already selling off a kidney to pay for it, if need be.

I was there in February and brought along 2 people who had never heard DTB and were floored. I'm bringing more this time.

:D

This will be sweet. I've never seen King's X.
