Bah, I'm so annoyed because I've missed out on watching SYL with Arch Enemy in the Manchester UK. Sold out show.

I bought tickets to watch SYL with Meshuggah (who I believed they were touring with) but then Meshuggah announce their UK shows are cancelled. I discover that they're playing with Arch Enemy, and it's sold out so I'm left gig-less... boo.

What's bugging me now is were they ever supporting Meshuggah over here? I only heard they were off a friend and then read on the SYL's site that they were supporting Fear Factory and now Arch Enemy.

Anyone know the score on this one??

I realise that this is not the SYL board but I have to make a plea to the DTB boys!

Dev creates the ultimate in Metal goodness. My favourite artist by miles. I'm gutted that I've missed one of his projects. So please come to Manchester with DTB for Synchestra. I gotta see Dev and pals!!!

I know dates won't be confirmed for ages yet and I sound like a stupid fanboy, but I also know the DTB guys use these forums, so please!!! Don't forget Manchester England when you book your tour of the UK. My friends and I would love to see you dudes playing live, so it'll be worth it, honest!!!

SUNSHINE METAL!!!

Dude, I'm almost sure that when we go thru the UK, we'll play Manchester again. Probably the University again, like we did last time. Don't forget that this is a booking agent thing and completely out of our control, for where we tour when we tour.

If we do come to Manchester again, don't be surprised if you see us in the crowd hanging out....we're like that, so don't be shy, come up and say "what's up" and smoke weed and drink beer with us

Cheers dude. That's cool as hell! :D

Just got myself all worked up there last night, cos I'd only just discovered the horror of not only missing Meshuggah and Arch Enemy, but also the mighty SYL. Three in a row.

Cheated I tells ya, cheated!! Ha Ha!

To be honest, I'd probably go to watch you guys pretty much anywhere in the UK, but Mank is nearby. The trouble with the UK is its a small country but it costs a shitload to do anything. So when bands only play London it ends up costing a fortune. After travel and a room for the night, I spent well over 100 quid watching Iron Maiden in 2000. Pricey for a gig when you're broke (and they never even played Phantom of the Opera cheeky bastards!)

I appreciate that you don't really have much control over these things tho, and I also appreciate the offer of beers and weed. That sounds like a fine idea to me. First round's on me! See you wherever you end up playing dude!

I can just about stand missing SYL, but when DTB come to the UK i'm gonna pull out all the stops to try anrd see them! Not being able to drive doesn't help, so public transport and hotels are gonna have to be the way. Expensive, but it will be sooooo worth it. If i can actually afford it that is.
