It is one thing to create something you feel is beautiful... but it is another thing entirely for others to feel the same way. I understand that our appreciation of your music must have a lot of personal value; which is absolutely appropriate, as you have effected every single one of us personally in a deep and sacred way.

I can say without doubt that you are one of the biggest musical influences on my life. The music itself has enriched my teenage years and allowed me to do so much more.

Thank you, Dev.

devin... everyone has probably already said it... but you rule.

if it wasnt for you making something special everytime, the it wouldn't be the select special few who find your stuff and ;earn to appreciate it... and all of us here totally appreciate what you do.

Enough to check your site everyday for hopefuly an update. enough to try our hardest to get every peice of music you've ever recorded, just to hear what else you hav in stall for us all. Enough to say to the entire palnet... THIS IS WHAT WE LISTEN TO... THIS IS OUR MEETING GROUND FOR MUTUAL SATISFACTION. yOU AR ONE ENTITY THAT HAS BROUGHT SO MANY MORE TOGETHER; IN US YOU HAVE CREATED A SOLAR SYSTEM OF HOPE, POWER, FAITH, IMAGINATION, AND GREATEST OF ALL... CONTENTMENT... dUDE... WE GET THE FEELING YOU RESPECT US FANS AS MUCH IF NOT MORE THAN WE RESPECT YOU... yOU SAID YOU'D KEEP ROCKIN...

ALL I WANNA SAY NOW IS... i HOPE I DIE BEFORE YOU... I DONT WANT THE MUSIC INDUSTRY TO BE IN YOUR ABSENCE WHILST IM ON THIS PLANET.

lol, is he thanking us now?
this can't be true.....

Thanks a lot dude, you're so alive here in the netherlands, please come back soon cause we miss you!

(I'm so terrible sorry I missed you at progpower, but I didn't have the money, I'm such a very poor student.....I even thought about robbing a ticketservice....but well, than I would have stolen the ticket from another Devin fan and that would've been ridiculous)

Have you seen the film 'Detroit Rock City'? If not, it is a very silly film about a group of Kiss fans who are willing to attempt anything to see their favourite band...including stealing the tickets off somebody else.

I would consider stealing justified in this case....heh.

Hi Dev.

Greeting from Berlin/Germany.
I met you after the last show in berlin at the so36.
You talked about a second ocean machine record.
What are you planning?

Hey sorry, my english sucks.

We love you, guy.

Well while we're kissing Dev's arse I'd like to say I met Dev during each of his last two Aussie tours after the Sydney shows and it was a pleasure to see a musician come out of his dressing room to meet the fans and actually invite myself and my good mate into the dressing room for a beer (and smoke).

It was amazing to sit there talking to the guy who made the albums that have continually blown me away for the past few years, to be able to ask the questions I've always wanted to ask and to basically enjoy a civilised conversation with the band.

So as plenty have said before me Dev, the pleasure is and always will be ours - just keep releasing that music mate!!
Man, I can't thank you guys enough.

You guys make the music alive. I tend to live in a bubble, but coming out of it every now and again to meet, work with, and talk to people about the same things...(especially over the internet where physical shit doesn't get in the way of proceedings), makes me realize how vital each and every one of you is to each and every song.

As I'm getting older, the music is flowing stronger. Life is so wierd that music is a no-brainer...It's what I'm cleaning the cat box and taking out the recycling in order to get a chance to do.

Thanks for the opportunity to play for you. I'll keep rockin, and I ain't ever planning on stoppin'.

Love,

The Dev.
Well, my first post here...
Devin, you are GREAT, I love your style of music, I think that´s very original, and I know how difficult it is to be original in an art form that has over 1000 years.´
I hope that you tour with Steve Vai, and come to Argentina!!! (unfortunately, DTB or SYL is very little known here in Argentina....I´m trying to make some advertising, but I don´t reach too much people ;) )
Well, that´s all for now, you are AWESOME
Deadhead is one of the most greatest rock songs I ever heard, honestly.
