I am finding Twitter more and more ridiculous as the days go by. Yea, it is neat to sign in and see what Dev is up to.....and a few other people I suppose, but I am not sure how many people really care that I just spilled Activia on my sweatshirt. I dunno, maybe I just need more "followers".

Try out some clients too, like TweetDeck or Tweetie, they allow you to build filters and columns i.e. (1. Crap I care about, 2. Crap I don't often care about, 3. I just followed these people to be nice and have no concern what they post...)

there's a bunch of twitter users from local breweries, coffee joints, music shops, producers, engineers and the likes too that you can follow and get links to music advice /news / discounts / specials/ giveaways etc. around your area.

Its a great thing for artists and street teams to let their tweeps be in the know....

Lastly, not sure if someone posted this already, but hashtags #, are used for marking posts across users and threads so you can find them later and see the whole thing in context. Like this, type in #devintownsend on search.twitter.com and see all the posts that anyone tagged with #devintownsend. Then start tagging your own posts that seem related.

I think Dev is using Twitter exactly as everybody should: Posting sometimes funny, sometimes absurd, sometimes interesting stuff and thoughts.

The whole interaction-thing works much better in a forum like this i think. Or maybe i just don't understand twitter...
