Right! :D

By the way, I use to hear OM, for sleep, for 2 weeks now. I must say it works better than Terria, which I heard the time before. OM is "softer" and "warmer", Terria needs more concentration and attention.

OM for sleep = win! If I'm not already asleep when Greetings comes in then I sure am after(/while) Death of Music.

OM>Synchestra>Terria>AE>Ziltoid>Infinity>City>Physicist

did I forget one?

Ocean Machine by far. Terria seems to slow down for me around halfway. OM keeps you on the edge (so to speak) from the beginning 'til the end.

Ocean Machine since I like more songs on that one. On Terria I mainly like the first four songs. The other ones are a bit too calm for my taste.
Physicist and Infinity and Oceam Machine are the ones I like the most actually. Though it's all very close and varies slightly depending on the mood ;)

To me it's OM by a country mile.

The last half of the album - from Greetings onwards - is the greatest 30-40 mins of music ever made.

Funeral is amazing.

Bastard is Devin's greatest ever song.

The Death of Music has such incredible atmosphere.

It's a masterpiece whereas Terria is just a very good album.

I'd still have Physicist above Terria anyway.

Terria drags me through a whole range of emotions. The music is touching unlike anything I've ever heard, especially Nobody's Here and Tiny Tears. Takes a certain mood to listen to the whole thing.

Ocean Machine is less mood oriented for me, so I have probably listened to it more. Doesn't hit home quite like Terria does, though.

Terria gets the vote.

Terria is my favourite album of Devin Townsend, but Ocean Machines definitely is the second best.

Ocean Machine by a mile. I've never really reacted to music the way I did before the first time I heard Ocean Machine. Funeral hit pretty effing close to home and Life for some strange reason made tears pour out when I finally "got" it.

Also, I have a tattoo on my shoulder of some of the artwork, so there's that.

Terria has left such an impact on the way I approach music. So many moments on Terria give me goosebumbs everytime no exceptions. Terria to me is an absolute musical journey were OM to me falls a little short. No disrespect folks!

Oh God.

Oh God this is such a hard question.

But, I'm going to go for it. I guess if I HAD to choose between the two, I'd choose Ocean Machine. But really, the two are virtually on the same plane IMO. Terria is nothing to scoff at, it's wonderful and amazing. I guess I just heard Ocean Machine first, and have had more time to grow really strong associations and attachments to it. I have fond memories attached to OM.

So that's my choice. But Terria blows my mind no less than OM. :D

I listened to Terria first...

But the full effect of Ocean Machine hit home the other day. So I'm going with Ocean Machine.

The Death of Music I found incredible...

Ok, I choce Terria, but I was VERY CLOSE to choose Ocean Machine. I'm still not quite sure, but I feel like Terria wins basically, because I think the first half of it is better than the first half of Ocean Machine.
