Holy crap you guys are coming to Hartford!?! That's friggin sweet! I'm there and I'm telling everybody up at UCONN to go! Woohoo!

it would be even better if DTB hung around and followed Opeth down under
Yes please. Excuse my while I pass out at the thought.

Don't quote me on this, but I think a Toronto date was mentioned.....let's hope ! The dates should be released fairly quick for all the dates we are playing.....
RVP
I guess that means I can assume no Calgary show (like that was ever likely anyways)
*sighs*
There's always hope for the future, but only if you are willing to make it happen. http://new.PetitionOnline.com/gr3nd3l/petition.html
OK this is interesting... Inertia Entertainment and Ticketmaster both list a Toronto DTB show with some local band on Feb 27th at Lee's Palace ... no Dark Tranquility or Opeth. Does this mean Opeth is skipping Toronto entirely or playing an 'Evening With' show on that same night or another?
I'd hate to be forced to choose between DTB and Opeth on the same night

its a 19 and up show.

ugh... how long must i wait to see dtb live. i'll have to sedate myself with memories of syl live three times....

Would the DTB be going to one of those Evening With shows? I have never been to one of those, and the Opeth evening with is in New York, which I can make, and would hope the DTB would be an opener. Im guessing the answer is no, and this is dissapointing. I want to see the DTB!!!!
edit: saw from the Opeth website. No supporting bands. NOOOO
Damn, I really wanted to see the DTB, but an evening with show with Opeth? HMMM

London!! Double Yes!!!
SETLIST - what the DTB setlist look for this tour? Most concert reviews I've seen report Earth Day (YES), Bad Devil (not a favourite), and various mix of brainsmash and ambient ones. In the opener slot, the set will only be 30 or 40 minutes, still enough to play a good range of types of material. I'm interested to know if the set will lean to one pole or another.
I think that most Opeth fans are big on the spacey and warm parts, and these are also my favourite things from DTB. The good-feeling pop element is what is great about DTB and I think all those new opeth kids will take to it as well. The fast, kickass songs will also be great to hear, but out of these, I'd like to hear things like Christeen over things like Namaste.
