Ahhh on the twitter? i cant say im a big fan of it, but it probably good for following what bands and musicians are doing musically or on tour (if people are interested)

I have one, but i don't use it much. I have enough people following my on other websites, don't need another one!

I use twitter mainly to keep in touch with my blog readers and other musicians. I find that it's much more interactive than Facebook because there aren't pages and pages of profile details, groups, lists, etc etc etc to sift through. It's just pure communication (if you want it to be) stripped down to its essence. Of course some people misuse it to just post page after page of every random thought that pops into their head without interacting with other users, but that's the fault of that user, not the format.

i always argued that micro-blogging isn't really for me, and the only thing that would atract me in it is if someone did a cool studio journal, or something like that, or if Devin Townsend twitted. My girlfriend thought the exact same thing, and did the exact same thing as i did: registered and then erased her account after 10 minutes.

I used to be all about that electronic communication deal. Until today, actually. I signed onto facebook and saw someone's facebook status was, "Traffic for the Holland Tunnel is insane!"

That's when I realized... they had just updated their facebook while in traffic going into NYC.

People are twittering and updating facebook while they drive. Ho.... leee.... shit. Needs to stop.

I like Twitter. My mom and brother are on it as well so I can use it as free text messaging for Twitter on my phone.
