I hope you insult the audience and it gets posted on youtube for our entertainment.

While you're at NAMM I'll be at the annual meeting of the Amphibian Populations Task Force in Bodega Bay. Sadly, insulting that audience can be career limiting. /wink

By the way, I have been mobbed by angry frogs before. I don't know if they were female, but it was scary.

Nope...six string. The amp is the best amp I've ever played. We're still working on it...trying to find the right speakers. Just found the tubes. Mullards in the preamp and recto, 2 tung sol in power section. 2 Channels, 6 knobs...slave out and good fx loop. 1/2 open and 1/2 closed 4x12...trying celestions now, trying Weber Silver Bells next week. Speakers need to be right still.

Dimarzio pickups. Area 61s and just trying to find the right humbucker. Taps in position 2 and 4. Tone zone currently, not brutal enough but taps well. 2 piece alder body one piece quartersawn maple neck. No bar, 2 tone, volume and master volume. (no tone change) Finding the right contours, Like a skipping stone, mottled grey, nitro finish, black hardware. Seasick strat shape, a bit like an RG, a bit like a jazzmaster. Bolt on with contoured heel. Wide roll on the tone knobs, tone one directly to the neck, tone 2 to the bridge, middle PU straight up.

My style has changed...The leads are slow. (nerd alert was just a shitshow) ...going for HUGE clean sounds, but channel 2 crushed when I need.

The new material is shit hot...but different. Like old zz top, Radiohead and c.c.r mixed with SYL and meshuggah.

The intention behind it is strong. No swearing.

I'm blown the fuck away by this amp.

What a description of the music.

Dev, any word on pricing of these beastly guitars/amps/cabs?

Sounds like I'll be running my credit card up here pretty soon.

Dev, does this gear represent a culmination of everything you've been looking for throughout your career or a snapshot of the sounds you are looking for right now? Best of luck at NAMM and thanks for the updates.

culmination of the career based on the future.

could play any of the catalog with it.

priced reasonably...its wood and wires, just thought out.

Trying to get amp around 2k (with those tubes) guitar around a grand. It should be possible, but we need to tweak for a while still.

The concept is simple, so there's no need to be worth a fortune. Original strats sold for 150 bucks...so it's no mystery. They just need to be careful in the prototypes, but replication should be good.

Wow sounds very exciting Dev. I can't wait to hear this. Oh and good luck doing your show sober. It's not so bad public speaking sober I found out myself cough cough I just get out there and do it and there is no chance for feeling scared. The worst part is always leading up to it wondering if I'll screw up lol.
