There are songs that I don't prefer, but they are few and far between.
I've never really gotten into the chicken feather SYL album. But, I like some of the songs.
Bad Devil isn't one of my favorites, but I enjoy it sometimes. Wild Colonial Boy is not a fave either. But, the rest of the album is great.
Physicist kinda fizzles for me after the first four songs, but I like Irish Maiden and Planet Rain.
I love Synchestra from start to finish. Same with Ocean Machine.
Terria... love that album. It's completely beautiful. Olives? does sorta make me wanna skip it, but if I'm listening on headphones I just love to hear those shimmering cymbal notes. Pure gold. And Mountain sounds so much better when it slams in at the end of Olives? So...
I really like all of Alien except for Info Dump. For that matter, I've never been able to appreciate DevLab or The Hummer. I've listened to them a few times but they don't grab me.
City is good and so is The New Black. Hope, Far Beyond Metal, Almost Again. Yummy.
There's a few songs on Ass-Sordid I that I like but most of them I don't.
I still think Ziltoid is practically perfect. Pure gold right there.
Overall, though, I love 90% or more of what Dev has done.
Looping green and blue, and you will go letting yourself certainly the meal once again through the head. But after the departure, you feel free and happily like after your first orgasm - and you will beg for addition. - German review of SYL's "Alien"
