DTB on this tour will most likely not happen. Devin has to record a new SYL record in spring and that has to take priority on his time.

Seriously, this is a bigger letdown than hearing Motley Crue was doing a reunion tour.

I'm so bummed out I might skip Christmas altogether and just sit in my darkened room, listening to Ocean Machine, wondering how good these songs would sound live.

What if we beg and plead and beg some more? Can we possibly persuade Dev and the rest of the SYL gang to hold off recording a new album until late summer? I've seen SYL twice, but never the DTB. And to see DTB alongside Opeth would be a MAJOR dream come true. And I told all my friends about the tour too.... they're going to be so depressed now....

And, yeah, this is a bummer. I like SYL too, but I'd much rather see DTB in concert than get a new SYL record at the end of the year. Sheesh, they just put out a new album.

Actually, it's not out for another month, but it's a good point nonetheless. Why get us all worked up with a shiny new DTB album and then not make the world's day by bringing it to their doorstep in all its splendiferous glory? Let me state this another way:

(okay, so it's a hollow threat, but there is going to be legions of disappointed fans if we don't get our fill of DTB and Synchestra live)

I would say the dates you have there are most likely as I have heard that we will do a part of the tour but not the whole thing. Not really sure of how long we will be on this tour though. I am sure the details will be out soon!

Im hoping you guys stop in Philly, and as it looks, the tour is on the east coast, so im assuming that they will fiunish up with the east and then move west.
