'Sup.

Just thought some of you might want to read the second part of this little monster.

DEVIN TOWNSEND - RM INTERVIEW PART 2/1A

Not so much of a single coherent thing, more likely to disturb the yoga class, but fuckit.

And in case you missed it, Dev's Canadian joke...

RM BANDS' BEST OF 2009 FEATURE - DEVIN TOWNSEND

It's a good interview but I have to make a major nitpick.

Whoever checks your facts whether it be you, or someone else, better start looking harder. Ocean Machine did NOT come out in 2003. While I'm sure you got that year off of a reissue, it's important to make sure you're on top of your shit. I spent many years in the journalism department at school, and the one thing that was deeply instilled to me is accuracy; "If nothing else, tell the truth." I would have gotten an F for that interview if it were assigned to me.

I know this seems like small potatoes but mistakes like that do in fact bring many questions about credibility, as well as the general quality of your "publication." You don't want that.

First of all, thanks for pointing that out, it has been corrected. I'm a little sad that seems to be the main thing you got out of it, but I'm happy you seemed to enjoy it despite that. And again, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to read and digest Part Two of the interview.

Secondly, I also have to thank you for assuming a website like Rock Midgets.com is a professional "publication". It's pretty flattering that you thought that, so again thank you, but I'm afraid that's not the case.

We're just a mix of music fans and industry professionals who do this in our spare time. And sometimes a mistake is just a mistake.

Anyway, thank you for taking the time to check out the interview, and I'm glad you enjoyed it otherwise!

Oh, yeah I'm sorry if I seemed harsh at all, that's just something I have a severe filter for.

It's not the only thing I've taken from the interview at all! And I'm happy you took the effort to ask questions that were a follow up to previous interviews, not just the same questions.

Keep rocking man.

Yeah, it's a great interview. Not as flowing as the first one as you said but gives out information that you don't get with every other interview.
