Got to meet Jed & Gene after the show. Didn't get to meet Byron as he was pulling double duty with Fear Factory. Also did not get to meet the Dev as he was really really ill after the show. He puked beside the bus and then retired inside for the night.

Sounds like Devin really dug deep to put on a show for the crowd, which you have to admire. I'm a big girl's blouse when it comes to being sick. Just mention an upset stomach and I'm in bed for the day watching crappy midday television.

First time i saw SYL the entire band were really ill. Gene was even taken to hospital with suspected appendicitis because he had such bad stomach cramps. But he came back, they all played and it was an amazing gig.
Dev puked next to the stage a couple of times and ran away after the gig, hunched over looking really ill. straight into the bus.
Got to say hi to Jed quickly too, but I think he was feeling pretty bad too so I kept it to "hi"

Man, SYL must be the worst kind of music to play if you're not feeling well. It's the kind of music that makes you feel full of energy if you're in the mood for it, but if you're feeling like crap, having to perform it would suck the life right out of you.
