I don't see how so at all. I absolutely love Jrock and Pop, yet, both that and devin are my favourite artists. xD

Life is absurd... there are over 6 billion of us and counting, so for someone connected to the interwebs to list Lady Gaga as number 1 and Devin as number 2 makes as much sense as me loving Freddie Mercury and being as straight as a plumb-bob. It's just another opinion, and you know what they say about opinions (like mine)!

I actually quite like a lot of the backing stuff to Beyonce songs. Like, the rythyms and stuff. But lyrically, and vocally, it's a little to be desired. (Of course, that's just my opinion.)

I don't MIND Lady Gaga, but a lot of her songs end up getting stuck far into the depths of my mind, only to resurface every 5th minute driving me batshit bonkers during the course of a day.

Maybe he has an open mind? Just because you like to listen to someone as unconventional and dynamic as Devin Townsend dosen't mean you can't enjoy simple, catchy pop music. And speaking of talent, in my opinion it's just as hard to write a short, catchy pop song with catchy melodies as it is to write a long epic metal song with soaring vocals and shreddy guitar solos. The dude probably was kidding though, come to think of it. But mad props to him for being honest if he wasn't kidding!

That being said, I think Pokerface is a really, really good song. That might make me a pussy or gay or whatever, but fuck it. If I enjoy something, I enjoy it, I don't care what others think of it, and I'm through lying to myself saying I hate it because I think that's how I am supposed to feel. POKERFACE IS A FUCKING AMAZING SONG.
