Ok, now we know its going to be on youtube...Sorry Dev man, its just the way the cookie crumbles now, everyone has a camera and everyone wants to show the world just how cool they are by capturing someone else's work on that camera. I mean look at Mastodon, they played new songs at Bonnaroo back in June and those made it onto the internet, their album still doesnt come out until around March...

Good luck with it though Dev, I cant wait to hear some of this stuff (still think you should post an mp3 for us or something )

Marijn and I made a agreement: when Ki is released, we buy it, and listen to it for the first time in high quality, together. I want Ki to be totally new for me by then.

Fucking hell. I've just had the worst night ever, and finding out that you are playing a show has blown my mind in the best way possible.
I'm from Australia. I'm not even joking when I ask if I'd be allowed to see you perform if I travelled to Canada this week.... I'd find a way to get there. I'd pay any amount of money.

On a serious note, kudos to you Devin. Even though I've never played a live show yet, I would imagine after 3 years without any live shows it would take a lot of willpower and guts to get back up. We are all behind you dude!

It will go one of two ways. I've deliberated for three years over this new record...shred? Heavy? Ambient? Electronic? Vintage?

I decided to do what I like, regardless of the fact that it may shock some folks. And if it doesn't go over...good to know.That in itself will solve some dillemas.

The first sober show in 15 years as well, will I freak out? Will I have missed it?

The guys playing the stuff are top notch though, and the drummer is a force of nature so I'm well backed.

We'll see...nervous, yeah...but I also have a tendency to be a drama queen, so I'm keeping that in mind.

Who are the guys playing the set with you? Im guessing Duris will be there but just curious as to who will accompany you on this Namm shitstorm?

Im also guessing they dont let the public in because the place would be overrun and packed and all the artists would no doubt get smothered by the crowd.
