Didnt Strapping use Peavy 5150 on City? Still it was an awesome guitar sound, never been bettered!

What kind of echo machines and pedals does he use. Im trying to get the same sounds to do some similar stuff and some covers. Right now i have a Spider 111 line 6 amp with tape echo and sweep echo but its not enough.

I did not get a good look at Dev's 2010 live set-up ... but at the heart of it is an Axe-FX, a ART poweramp, a GP-100 and a Mesa power amp [2:90?]. There are few other things in there but like I said I did not get see much. I saw a Peavey 4x12.

Here's Dev's rig from the BTBAM tour.

1. Furman Power Conditioner for pretty lights and surge protection
2. AxeFX Ultra for tone/effects generation
3. Sennheiser Wireless unit (not used this tour)
4. Radial Direct ProD8 to send direct mix to house
5. GP100 for that "ugly sound" (to be replaced eventually)
6. Behringer EQ for, uh, EQing
7. Art SLA-1 for amplification
8. Mesa 2:90, also for amplification

Not sure why there's two amps in the rack for stage sound, but there it is. Maybe the AxeFX and the GP100 are amped separately?

(Gasps): Dev did an 8 string!?

I remember there was discussion before the new black came out that he was going to mess around with 8 strings on "the next record", but they only thing we saw was a pic of him holding a black machine, which is no longer on their website. We then saw him with that awesome black ESP custom guitar and that seemed to be the end of that 8 string story.

What about the guitar Dev uses in Away in Zafe Zone? anyone knows if he still has it, what mics does it have? sounds freakin' awesome!
