might even be my fav Dev material... I hoped Devlab would be the same on albumlength but nooo...

Its repetitive and just seems like Devin screwing around with some loop program real quick. Doesnt seem like something that he really liked or cared that much about. Seems thrown together imo.

this review of yours sounds like you have no idea about it but you think because you listened to it once you know it... or maybe electronic music sucks in general... yup the beats are looped but if you listened to it more than once ...

noise and keyboard textures all the way, chilled out vibes and the usual Dev songwriting just with different instruments...

I couldn't wait, I didn't have the money for the special edition of AE, so I had to get the standard. And now I regret it(In a way cause AE is still fantastic) But I think now I will just buy the special Edition anyways so I can hear these tracks. It's worth it to me. They sound good from what you guys say.

yes, i know nothing about the project.

I just dont feel like this is a work Devin would be proud of. He is a perfectionist, and this was quickly thrown together. And its not horribly textured, i feel 20x better vibes from any other song of his than this EP. Just my .02 $, i hope you dont like it

But it's hard to bitch about it being of lesser quality than his other albums, since it's a bonus disc...

Yeah, if it´s a bonus, it´s a bonus. It might as well be 10 pictures of Devs garden flowers, or whatever...It´s for free, shut up or don´t bother!

"Quickly thrown together"... do you mean that as a fact or a value? I think we all know how Project EKO was concieved and why, so I find it difficult to hold that against the EP.

I finally heard my buddies copy of EKO today, and I have to say that I was totally blown away by it. I was on the skytrain just watching the scenery go by when I was listening to it and it was so amazing. What an experience.

Nice! That reminds me; I haven't listened to it in a while. Guess I'm overdue...
