I'll try to get a guy I met at a few Massachusetts SYL gigs to post here closer to. He used to organize Dev-related road trips. It worked out pretty sweet for one of my friends. He paid a pittance for gas, met fucking *everyone* in Strapping, got free lodging, and wound up doing zero driving. (Mind you. he never got invited back. In the middle of arguing about how he meant half the cost of a $40.00 room not a $100.00 one the douche passed out. He was lucky the dude let him have the sofa after that one.)

Why not have Massachusetts Devy fan gatherings *before* the hypothetical tour(s)? That way, there could feasibly be some degree of comfort between peeps to smooth pre-gig street team activities as well as a basis for possible ride-sharing. Even if you're very big on driving in alone, cars do fail last second and knowing there's somebody who won't decapitate then eat you can be a good back up plan.

These shows take place in a Masonic Temple in Brooklyn, yes a Free Mason Temple. It's a real oldschool show vibe, big hall, little to no security really, people go on stage and all that fun stuff.

Basically I think it would be a sick place and these guys got their shit together and people come from all over the country for these shows.

If you came to Edmonton, or even goddamn Calgary I would be overjoyed.
