I agree with Dev, Hummer DOES suck!!

Dev wouldn't release something if it wasn't good enough to sell. It may not be very mainstream, but there are still thousands of people that would appreciate Hummer and dev obviously knows that, otherwise Devlab wouldn't have been released and dev wouldn't have bothered making statements about the album etc. It's far too obvious that the info is a load of crap =P

Bad Devils' Advocate wrote:Well thats a misunderstanding on my part :? .I'm sorry to spread false rumor but I go to Scrape for all things Devy and that's what I was told was the reason why they had no copies. I mean they even have copies of the red and green Priest tribute albums and DevLab. I can't wait to get it. I can't be held responsable for what I do when I don't get my DEVY.Since it is so awsome(is there any doubt?) hows' about dropping of a few copys with Scrape for the 'masses'.

There are releases that we think are better left mail-order only so that anyone seeking them already have background on Devin and there is an explanation what the CD is about. We do not want a person new to Devin grabbing DevLab in a store and thinking that is what represents the catalogue. The ambient and demos discs will remain by mail order (unless they are eventually released through some electronica label). Our Canadian distributor regularly asks us to make them available but I don't think it's a good idea.

I begrudgingly let Scrape have some DevLab because JJ said he would explain the album to prospective buyers. As for their not having Hummer because we didn't think it was 'good enough' is not true. They never asked for any.
