yo tracy i was wondering what yours and devs fav japanese metal bands *have to actualy sing in japanese* are? and if you have any recomendations for bands i should listen to.

Well, I'm not The Dev nor Tracy, but I can tell you that if you haven't already heard it, pick up Brotherhood by the band B'z. It's not quite METAL but the guitarist is incredibly tasteful, one of my favorites.

I'm not Dev or Tracy either, but Melt-Banana, Sigh, and TsuShiMaMiRe are incredible bands from Japan.

The Adachi Tomomi Royal Chorus is also excellent... But they're pretty different. They're an acapella avant-garde band. Very interesting to listen to.

I've heard of them, but haven't really checked them out. They do metal covers of anime tunes, right?

yep they do and their fairly heavy kinda like 80's heavy metal.

btw i dont think that banana band is reely my thing the vocals kinda put me off.

Maximum the Hormone got catchy tunes,but i don't really classify'em as metal,Flagitious Idosyncracy in the Dilapidation.....all japanese girl Grindcore band

i saw those guys too. decent band, nice blokes. ryokuchi just blew my head off though
