The Abyss in Ocean Machine

Hey Tracy,

there is an interesting discussion going on if Devin had James Cameron's The Abyss in mind when creating at least some bits of the album. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even know the movie, but parts of the album - in my case namely Greetings and sometimes also Voices In The Fan - create an atmosphere that remind me and some others of the film... Coincidence or intended?

Btw, I know that the topic's name really sucks

And Chris promised to eat his OM booklet if it's just a coincidence. :D

Oh no, no Otherwise-I'll-eat-my-booklet bets from my side! This crazy dude from Slovenia has shown us very clearly that those can have horrible, HORRIBLE results!

Btw, I'm eagerly awaiting your verdict on how the Infinity-booklet tickled your tongue and stomach! And if you do it at Wacken, I'm sure that Clare will capture it on film as a warning for all of us...

Yes, that's true. I don't think coincidence or intended... inspiration and influences just happen.
