There's an ongoing discussion about Devin and Newsted in the Physicist forum. I was mentioning the known projects—IR8, Tree of the Sun, Blastula & The Satanitones—that Devin has worked on with him, and I linked the media player from Chophouse Records. I didn't recall ever listening to the Filthy Young Impalors clip; so I did just now.



Is that Devin on vocals? It really sounds like him! In fact, the melody being sung sounds eerily familiar (maybe "Regulator"?), even though the song isn't. Can anyone—Tracy, Devin, whoever—shed any light on this? The track in question is HERE, it's called "Whiff."

There were just the two. IR8 and Blastula were the same session then TotS.

I'll look into that song later, Devin's not home. It does sound like him but did you notice when you first link to the song it says 'SYL sucks' in the title window? Don't ask me what that's about, I don't know.

Hmmm...I don't see the "SYL sucks" thing. Maybe Devin was messing with your browser? Haha.

It was just in the first 2 seconds after connecting. It didn't come up when I started it again.
