I heard that Dev sings on that black star deceiver (or backdoor receiver, as a friend of mine suggested  ). Where excactly does he sing? Chorus? Verse? Up-to chorus falset/scream? Its hard to say, as im not so familiar with soilworks own vocalist. He didnt sing the cleanvocals live when i saw them a while ago and i only have black tar believer (:poet:) on a comp.

He does a sort of vocal back and forth with Bjorn in the verses. He first sings at around 34secs, its pretty distinctively him, then its Bjorn then back to him and so on. If you hear the vocal once you will pick it up.

Then the second verse Dev starts off first.

Just buy the record, it´s all in the booklet and it´s worth buying!

Speed: "Meanwhile time takes a turn"
Devin: "I´m feeling damned when you make it burn"
Speed: "Let´s testify you´re born to die"
Devin: "You speak the truth and so do i" and so on.

Devin and Speed are singing in a quite similar way but after a few listens it´s easy to tell them apart.

Yeah, it's definitely not so easy to pick up on. He also sang on the bonus tracks on Paradise Lost's Symbol Of Life.

Regarding Paradise Lost, Dev sang, but not exactly on 'the bonus tracks'. He sang on Two Worlds (regular album track) and on Small Town Boy (yup that 80ies cover, and thats really a bonus track on the digi).
However he just did this cause Nick Holmes missed a few of the high notes, that old story...

Fuck, that part is so great!

Regarding Paradise Lost, I didn't know that until I read it on the net, months after I bought the album. :P hard to notice if one isn't informed.

Doesn't he also sing on No More Angels?

So does Dev do the high-pitched screamy thing in "Small Town Boy"? I always thought it sounded like him, but he wasn't given credit for it in the liner notes, just for "Two Worlds".

He sings backup in the chorus harmony. It's hard to make out his voice even when you know it's him. Anyone with a somewhat high voice could have done the part...

Dev didn't sing on the bonus tracks? I wrote that from work, but I'll check the CD tonight. I'm pretty sure he's also on the bonus tracks then. Otherwise I'm delusional, it's been a while since I listened to that album.

On a side note, their new album is very good, too. =)

What are we talking about, Paradise Lost? Which songs were the bonus tracks? I was only aware of Dev doing vocals on "Two Worlds", though the screams in "Small Town Boy" do sound like him (and there's no way that Nick Holmes does them).

How does the new album compare to Symbol of Life?
