Probably a Century Media initiative separate to HDR. No sign of any news on their site(s) so far...

CM released one of the most comically bad reissues I've got. It's this two disc set of Samael albums with "new artwork" and "liner notes." First off, disc one was the second album. Second, no thought went into layout so the new art consisted of old images randomly blown up with lyrics strewn about in such a way that it took me three minutes to figure out how to follow. Third, the notes were a decade old with no updates whatsoever.

I don't know too much about it. We collected up a bunch of old images for them for it and there is one unreleased track. They are likely re-releasing it to draw attention to it again with the increasing popularity of the band. A re-release gets press and renewed interest in the old stuff. Just a theory.

Please tell me it wasn't remastered. I see no need to take the nice 1995 version and smash it through a limiter to 2006 RMS levels.

I don't think it will be, nothing has said that so far. An unreleased track would be nice, I've never really got the point of new artwork, and city would be cooler.... I think that covers everything.

I agree that City would be cooler. Because I don't have that one yet

I would appreciate a remaster on this one.

only thing dev's done i don't have (including the demos) so it'll be groovy

wonder what the new song is, i dont think it needs a remaster either sounds amazing as it is :D:D:D, but new art might be worth getting for!
