Can Tracy or someone in the band confirm the rumor that DTB won't be opening for Opeth on this date? If DTB doesn't open this show, I'm boycotting all concerts for the rest of the year.

If you go here: http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/tour/ and click on "Opeth" on the left under artists then hit "submit" it gives you all the information. Looks like devildriver and dark tranquility with opeth, no DTB listed for that date

Well, it looks like I'm done with concerts this year after the Opeth show.

Even the Strapping world tour that Gene's been alluding to?

That's just it. I've already seen Strapping TWICE. Don't get me wrong, I love SYL and seeing them live is great. But I've NEVER seen DTB live and it looks like I won't get to again. I'm sick of it. North Dakota fans ALWAYS get shit on when it comes to tours. We always have to travel 250 miles to Minneapolis, and that's IF the tour goes through the Twin Cities. Well, once again, we get screwed. I'm not saying an Opeth concert isn't worth seeing, which is why I'm still going, but us ND fans have been shit on so much that I'm finally fed up. After this Opeth concert, I'm done for the year. I'm sick of being disappointed.

Come on guys, there wasn't going to be a tour at all. He's agreed to do 2 weeks and all we get is grief about the dates they're NOT doing as opposed to the ones they are?

When DTB toured the US w/ Symphony-X, I drove from Massachusetts to New Jersey to see them a second time. This was because It was a horrible idea because my car couldn't take it and I wound up stranded 250 miles from home. Otherwise, I was a huge flaming hypocrite.

I just don't understand why there wasn't going to be a full tour in the first place. Why did the SYL record have to be recorded so soon after the release of Synchestra? DTB fans barely get any chance to see the band live. As I said before, I've seen SYL twice now, but never DTB. Is SYL more of a priority than DTB now?
