No, he just wanted a house cat. Devin said to the guy "draw a house cat" and he did just that.

I didn't know that was the inspiration! You are truly an inspiration, a kitty shelter in your own right.

One day I still hope to have the HDR - HevyDoggie Rescue. Where people can sponsor animals in care, set up like the merchandise section on the website with a picture of each dog/cat "named" after a different Devy song. Someone can browse and decide to send $5 to sponsor "Olives" or "Storm" or have links to web pet supply stores so they can order food sent to the shelter...

Probably a pipe dream but maybe one day...

Whoa... that's a very nice idea! :D

Will they be named after SYL songs, too?

A dog named Shitstorm would be very flattering!

Just dont call an animal "Rape song" or "Oh my fucking god"!!

but serious, not really a pipe dream Tracy, it would be for a good cause and a lot of fans seem to like cats/dogs etc. I for one would rather see pets looked after in a loving environment than being left on the streets.

Naming a dog Happy Camper, the Fluke, or Deadhead would be sooooo killer.

Can I sponsor "Suicide"? I think I won't have to send money in for long...

Sorry, bad joke.

Oh, no, but seriously, I'd pay money for that. It'd be awesome! Especially if we got pictures and updates about how they're doing or something.

Seriously, I think that's a good idea, Tracy. Too many people don't spay or neuter their pets and then abandon the offspring.

Speaking of which, I think too many people don't spay or neuter their kids, either. ;-)
