I'll pile on here and say congrats to both of you. As a recent parent I can attest our 15 month old boy makes us laugh every single day! Pregnancy was at times difficult, scary, and long, but once you're at the hospital it's all a whirlwind.

When they come running up to you and hug your leg, it's the greatest thing in the world.

As we say in France, I'm arriving after the battle, which means I'm a bit late but I nonetheless warmly congratulate the both of you! I wish you the best, and I'm sure you're gonna be great parents because you're both great human beings. WOW!

Congrats to both of you. Having a baby is the greatest life changing moment I've ever experienced next to the death of my mother. Totally re-arranged my outlook on life in minutes. I looked down at my daughter, Stella, 2 minutes old, her arms shaking, screaming, and the nurses are buzzing around her, cleaning her etc. She's pissed and letting everyone know it. The nurses talk to her and she ignores them, screaming on. Then, I reach out, put my hand on her tiny chest and talk to her, "It's okay, Stella, it's okay. Daddy's here." She almost instantly stopped crying as she recognized my voice. She settled down to listen to me. Life was better to her because I was nearby.

From then on I knew something I had never known before. I was completely humbled by the knowledge that I would do anything for her. I was floored by the sudden realization that my life's purpose was to make her life as great as it could be. Most of all, I realized that for the first time in my life, I loved another human unconditionally. She had my love simply by existing.

And then, today, she's potty training. She pooped in her pull-up (a training underwear/diaper). Not a big deal except that I HATE POOP!!!!!!111!!! It was everywhere. I nearly barfed. Seriously. Gagging continuously because pull/ups are not made for poop like diapers. It's a little like crapping in your underwear. It was bad. And, I still love her.

Then, there's our latest baby, Lucas, in my avatar. He rocks. I love him too. His poop is not as bad as Stella's. Thank God.

Congrats again, guys. It's a big deal having a baby. Get ready.

More congrats from me - that's friggin' brilliant news guys & I wish you both all the best! Just take as much time off as you like - don't worry about us, just speculating on the baby's sex and name alone will keep us going for the next few months!

You're both incredible, cool people who'll make wonderful parents (Just make sure Dev teaches him/her the 'fart on the buffet' trick - my folks didn't, and when I think of all the crappy parties I wound up tolerating when I didn't have to... :)) Besides, this is a child that will be truly blessed, for he/she will be raised under metal!
