Forgive me if this is a really stupid question, but what exactly constitutes "live in the studio" in this case? Only I note they played for "12 hours" and did things in more than one take and I assume the running time of the DVD isn't 12 hours. Was the rest of the time spent setting up and rehearsing? I'll probably read this back tomorrow (or more likely, once I've seen the DVD) and realise I'm being a total n00b, but hey...

They played for 12 hours, repeating the set. Then for the DVD they took the best performance of each of the songs ending up with an hour long set.
