he comes across as a really intelligent person, and to write all those awesome songs - youd think he would be really smart.

so i was wondering if he is interested in math and what aspects if so?

if not math, is there any other subjects Dev liked at school or uni (did he goto uni?)

:)

And once again me, who was reading an article in a magazine:

Metal Magazine: What was the most hated thing in school?

Devin: Math and french, doesn't work with my brain.

IIRC, this was what Devin replies. Nevertheless I think Devin must have a brain which is absolutley genius. This man has my undeniable huge respect for being what he is and what he has done.

Btw., sorry for beeing too much reveal-ish.

I'd say you're screwed, then. Oh well. You can always be a fan of Meshuggah. They love math.

I wouldn't say that someone who enjoyed math is more intelligent than someone who didn't enjoy math.

French Grammar is apparently easier for people that are good in Maths. I've always been bad in Maths but good in french (essays, dissertations ... etc ). The grammar represents the technical side of the language and it works well with math.

Well I am french so shame on me if I was bad in my mother language, However Mathematics have always been an hermetic 'but universal language' for me

He's fascinated by the concept of it and of people who do understand it but is not very good at it.
