On one hand, I find it to be unsettling throughout, but there's also this sense of a kind of vigilant peace, especially near the end. In fact when I first heard the song, I assumed that it was about experiencing a storm, but when I think about it now, it's almost like we're watching for an inevitable storm that hasn't yet arrived, or maybe it's just visible on the horizon.

Great song, however you describe it.

i'll try this:

Elemental.

I was thinking more spacey and cold, like most of the songs on AE. Or unsettling, it seems like there are very strong emotions on this whole album, this song included. Not as cold as Ocean Machine, but still a cold feeling. Very similar to the cover art, but not quite as happy, but close.

Sorry. 8)

Yikes! What a thought!

No, neither song is particularly happy but they weren't supposed to be. They are apologies. Some dudes bring flowers, Devin writes songs.

How would you get an Infinity out of a divorce? That would be the furthest result!

Hey Tracy, thought this question would fit in here... What do you think about Devlab? :)

Hehe...well, I didn't say my opinion was correct! :D

As for my Infinity comment, well...when I listen to Infinity I hear...reluctant insanity. Like, normalcy being invaded by chaos and insanity. Does that make sense, or am I sounding insane myself? Hehehe. I have been married and divorced and that's about exactly how I felt.

Now, hold it. That's against the rules. You can't fuck off for someone else. They have to make the offer.

Noob

Or, I could just fuck off?

Oooh, man! Especially the last couple of lines, where Devin gets emotional! It always gives me BIG goosegumps!

Anyway, it seems like I had right in that "Storm" and "Kingdom" were apologies for someone... :)
