Can you please give us an update on the tab books? While listening to Synchestra's amazing guitar work, I remembered you telling us that Devin started this project but put it on hold or something.How is Devin going to "transcribe" the guitars and when do you think we should be expecting the first book to be released?

Also, any chance of Devin doing a guitar instructional video, showing us tips and trick and how to take the most out of this special tuning he uses since the early days? maybe talking about his gear(7-string guitars!!!) and his sound. It's obvious that he's developed as a guitarist over the years and with Terria he established his unique guitar playing.I'm sure there are lots of devy fans wishing for an instructional DVD.

Ummm... the tab books have had no progress. They may never see the light. Devin's just too busy to do them. If he could get some time off, maybe he could do it but that hasn't happened. This year is not looking good for that either.

We don't plan on doing a instruction video. "Great Average Guitar" was not one of Devin's best memories and his least favourite product. Plus it was not exactly a best-seller either. It would cost a lot to produce and the market would be quite small at this time.

But throwing "Great Average Guitar" on a DVD-R and selling it through the website wouldn't cost a lot to produce, and could earn you a buck or two; I for one know some people who would be interested in that. Hint, hint!

I totally agree, I will try to find a copy of "Great Average Guitar" whether it's by HDR or a bootleg floating around and I think not only guitarists/musicians will want to get their hands on a copy of GAG but also fans that want their collections of HDR products complete.

We don't own the rights to it. It's owned by Shinko Music Publishing in Japan. We don't even have a copy anymore.
