I have to vote for Bastard for #1
That song got my really into Devin...

Very close #2 is Funeral...just makes me completely fuzzy inside!

The whole album has just pulled my brain out, re-arranged it and put it back in my skull.

Excellent description :amen:

Although I wouldn't call OM as much a "mindfuck" as Infinity, it certainly touched me very deep inside. Maybe that's why the words "Emotion Machine" suddenly come to my head...

OM made me rethink everything I thought I had known about myself and music in general....definately not as much a "mindfuck" as Infinity!

Before OM I had believed in bands like Tool and NIN as being the most influential on me.....but with the discovery of OM and Devin and the recent release of NIN's With Teeth, I had lost faith in Reznor and my once devotion of him as a "musical genuis" was squashed.
Tool still holds value with me and I still love them, but Devin's music just seems like it leagues ahead of everything I had taken for granted before... He just blew me away!

Saying that his music "blew me away" doesn't do justice to the effect it really had on me... :D

Me too. Certainly one of my favourite Dev songs, and one which is so full of emotions... Sadness, something that seems to be hope, total loss, loneliness... Now that I use all these words I feel like saying that it's one of my favourite songs of all time.

But I felt that way before, so... "Bastard is one of my favourite songs of all time."

Those are all standout-tracks in my opinion. Life, Bastard and Seventh Wave might be the ones I listened to the most.

Yeah, thats pretty much the exact same way I feel. Like honestly, what a moving record full of just a bunch of amazing songs. I mean, I can't count out Night either, the acoustic version of it is just something else.

"Moving" is a very well chosen word when it comes to describing OM, I think

Agree with you on Night, too. But is there anyone else who thinks that Dev has some trouble playing the guitar properly while singing the "I love you more than I can say..." part? The rhythm sounds... uhm... not completely right (wow, what a description)

Guess that section's a real beast... Singing THAT intense and combining it with playing an instrument. So don't get me wrong, it's just something I noticed. God, how I'd love to attend a Dev acoustic set...
