Yesterday I saw inside the Infinity disc's booklet that there was the four picture's of Devin with his privates photoshopped or whathaveyou. Someone then told me it reminded them of the Marilyn Manson - Techno Animal's cover. Both albums are 1998 I think, I'm wondering which came first?

If I recall correctly, the original Infinity had the butterfly on the cover, and the re-release with bonus tracks had Devin in (almost) all his glory, which came in 2000. So MM was first.

And if I recall correctly, Dev said he wanted his bits un-photoshopped but the publishers or whoever thought differently. Might have been a lie though.

Hmm really? I thought that the cover we're talking about here was the cover for the re-release with bonus tracks from 2000 or so, this one:
And the original release had this cover:
But if I'm wrong, what's the second cover? Japan only or something?

But isn't this thing called an 'Obi Strip' or something? Japanese thingy?
Anyway, does anyone know what's in the booklet of the butterfly-Infinity?

Ermm , I must apologise for my rather ignorant earlier post , I was quite unaware of the two cover saga.
It also appears that I was regailing years-gone-by through somewhat rose-tinted specs , I remember now that Physicist was my first purchase directly from HDR.
But I do recall purchasing Infinity , locally , the week of release and the cover in question is indeed the nudie one.

The most truthful statement that I've seen in such a long time on the internet.

I bought Infinity the day it came out (the USG records version) and it's Devin in his purest form on the front cover, with the butterfly on the back and no lyrics inside. As far as I can remember, they didn't have the time to work on the booklet because of a tight schedule, so no lyrics.
