err, no. i don't hear any resemblance whatsoever. the closest it comes is the guitar tone.

But at the same time they're certainly two distinct and different songs.

Very, very different songs in my opinion, but both absolutely great!

indeed - I like the Deftones song a bit more though, that's a true classic. but both are great.

It's mostly just the kind of chords they are playing. Very devin-esque.
