Physicist rules! My favourite song of the album probably is Kingdom, but I also like Planet Rain, Namaste, Material and Jupiter a lot.
Hope is more than a postponed disappointment...
The most criminally underrated Devin's album!
I choose Material, anyway... The chorus is just too much, and I can't avoid being happy every time I listen to it. Wonderful album, and one of the most special of the Devin's career! Or may I say Strapping Young Lad? Doesn't matter...
The Crow (José Antonio)

I'd have to go with Irish Maiden, as it's just so damn catchy. Or maybe Material, if I need cheering up.

OH DEAR
The Complex for sure. That song is just a powerhouse...
I ended up voting for Planet Rain, in view of quantity and quality. With both criteria it wins over Material, Irish Maiden and Namaste for me. Dev's low voice sounds really amazing on this track, and the solo is really cool.
You people are nuts thinking Kingdom is the best song. Material is just so perfect in every way.
I think this was said on the first page by someone, but I agree. I really can't get into this album. It in no means is band though.
It just feels like a less energetic Strapping to me. The whole fun of them was the chaos and crazy vocals.

This is why I don't support local music...

Planet Rain, without question. The whole song is beautiful, but the section at 4:08 is stunning. It sounds so epic and orchestral, I love it
What have we learned from this wee exercise?
conjob, isn't that avatar of yours the guy who played as the undercover cop who turns into a drug addict/murderer in Oz?
For me, nothing on this album has the potential of Kingdom, there's no song in Townsend's career like it.
Sing and rejoice
Planet Rain. But every song (minus Forgotten, in my opinion obv.) is amazing. First few listens I wasn't keen on the sound/mix but I think it just makes you have to focus more on listening to it, and I love the mix now.
Fo me i'd say;
Namaste
Victim
Irish Maiden
Kingdom
Though it doesn greatly depend on what mood i'm in
