Yeah.
Try and stay sorta relevant, eh?

Nothing to add here, Sir!
(which makes this post a bit useless, yep...)
Chris, you are such a post-hound.
Oh, and I enjoy listening to Olives in the dark on headphones to try and decipher what the f*** they are saying in the background. Still can't really, though. Somewhere there's a post on here where we talk about this.
Looping green and blue, and you will go letting yourself certainly the meal once again through the head. But after the departure, you feel free and happily like after your first orgasm - and you will beg for addition. - German review of SYL's "Alien"

Actually, this is still one of my longer and more... intellectual posts

I enjoy that too. Not so much with the intention of understanding every word that is said in the background (that could end up really disappointing), but listening to it more as a whole. Hard to describe, but sometimes even the voice samples in Dev's music become such a well fitting part of the atmosphere that I might understand the words, but I'm no longer able to see them separated from the music, to even hear them as what they are, to hear them just as words. That's what I feel so often with certain pieces of Dev's art, all the parts, all the different instruments and all those samples flow so well togehter, I can still go like "Oh, that's an interesting sample, cool riff, great drumming" - which of course is also a matter of production - but still it's a whole and even the smallest fucking voice sample sometimes adds so much to the vibes coming out of the speakers. Concerning that aspect, Terria certainly is the most outstanding of Dev's solo albums to me.
I know I didn't do too well at describing what I mean, but... Let's sum it up by saying that Dev changed or enlarged my understanding of "music" and I, to put it as simply as possible, love Terria (guess the love-thing comes from just having heard SYL's "Love?" about six times in a row, just to let you know...)
i can and i can not
Deep Peace, without the slightest shadow of a doubt, the gentle beginning , the masterful growing of tension and the apotheosis of the guitar solo... gosh, I have to listen to it right now!!
Les pattes du canard sont courtes , il est vrai , mais les allonger ne lui servirait à rien ( vieux proverbe chinois).
Sheesh....probably my favorite based on sentiment would be Canada...
Mountain is up there because it's so powerful and Happy the dog is in it.
The Fluke is there as well because it makes me all giddy and happy...as Nobody's Here is just plain beautiful and Deep Peace for the guitar part in the middle.....shit, they're all my favorites!!

...or, I could just fuck off.
Since when is catchy automatically bad? Someone is being close minded >.<
No real favourite. It's like one big trip from start to finish. One of those rare albums that you can put on again as soon as it's finished (just like Physicist and Infinity imo)
I think it's impossible to vote because my favourite track changes as each new track starts.
I'd be like "Oh cool it's Earth Day" and then as soon as it finished I be thinking "Ahh... Deep Peace" and so on until it ends. Where upon I'd either put it on again or be too fucking mellow to make a decision on anything!!
But since you ask, Tiny Tears(!) That bit at the end with the smooth vocals giving way to that crushing but "nice" heavy-as-fuck outro straight into Stagnant... sonic bliss.
