Its strange to see the results of the poll....obviously only strange because I wouldnt have it that way myself, but I thought Deadhead was a bit harder to get into than the other songs. That probably makes it the most rewarding though anyway, and I guess thats why it is in the lead at the moment. The guitar work on it is truly amazing though, particularly towards the end when it sort of sweeps up after being down for most of the song. Awesome.
"Mongo only pawn in game of life..."
Storm storm storm!
God damn, if/when I get to hear it live, I will weep like a baby. The sample towards the end (where´s that taken from?), and the "Stay with meeee"-part... It gets to me every time. And it´s so cool that it adresses Tracy, really naked and brave..emotional.

Deadhead really did it for me (and going by the results, im not the only one). I cant explain why but for some reason it really sticks with me. its like a lush, epic soundscape. I only wish i could make music as perfect as this song
I love cranking this track with the 5.1 surround plugin for winamp

Storm. People here have already expressed quite accurately how I feel about the song, so I haven't got much to add. Sometimes I feel like it's too much, like I can't take it.. I'm really grateful for that.
This is what he'd always known

i think i'd have to say a tie between Deadhead and Storm... both have huge amounts of emotional energy in them which makes them so powerful to listen too... Deadhead's "You are so vicious!" and Storm's "Stay with me!" will always stick in my head... amazing CD altogether ...
Haha, I just have to jump in again and mention how much "Suicide" rules Rarely have I heard such masterfully monstrous compositions.

DimeWeed wrote:Suicide is a corker! The part in the middle with the fffffatttt chublies, followed by the lonely bass then the explosion of sparklies, is pure devin. It Accelereted my Evolution.
Respect!

Deadhead, but Suicide and Depth Charge come very close.
"Hello, welcome to A & W. My name's Devin! Can I take your stinkin' order?"- Strapping Young Lad, S.Y.L.
such a touch choice: Storm or slows me down, depending upon mood.
Storm. One of the most beautiful songs that has been written. The first time I heard it I loved it. One of the best songs evsr written in 6/8. Just the expressiveness of the lines "You wanted to be what you'd never been before" says it all. One of the few songs on the first listen to on an album that remains a favourite after longer than three months.
All you are is all you are, is all you are, and you're sorry???
Definitely Suicide. A slow grower, emotional as hell. Damn heavy riff.
I've been so into Sunday Afternoon/Slow Me Down lately. I'd always liked Slow Me Down but it took me a while to get into Sunday Afternoon. Great song, though. Very powerful chords and entrancing vocals. And Slow Me Down just rocks. I fuckin' love that song.
Keep rockin', keep rollin'
