I went for Sunday Afternoon. I never get tired of that song. The buildup to the second "I will wait for you." gets me every time.

Definetly Depth Charge!!! It has one of the most amazing choruses I have ever listened to!! It sends shivers up and down my spine every time I hear it!! It´s intense and memorable and simple (and not cheesy, as most choruses generally are).

80% of the music I listen to don't even have choruses, at least "normal" ones...but this one just does it for me!!!

Wow, with this album it seems that people are sort of on the same wavelength as I am.... Suicide, Deadhead, Storm.... Those tracks own!!!

There are many reasons, why the whole album is so important, special and close to me. I really had a long thinking to what song should I give my vote.

As all the other Dev's albums, this is also a very different, an own kind piece of art, a piece of the artist itself maybe too.

Finally, I gave my vote to the first track, Depth Charge. Because of the drumming, the melodies, the speed. And especially because of the lyrics. There are many meanings in them, I see the song in different ways at the same time and all the images and thoughts I get in my mind from it...as well all the hope, will to try, to go on.

Maybe I'm just a weirdo, dunno about that, but it's just me...

Nope....you're not a weirdo ! You get something out of that song and that's all that's important. Everyone reads into song's differently, that's the very cool thing about listening to music. If it gives you hope and the will to try and go on....it's that much cooler 8)

Depth charge is a killer song, I love playing it, although we don't play that song live that much..... :?

Howcome? I thought that would of been one of the obvious one's to of played as the crowd would go mental. I know I'd kill to see it live, maybe you could have a word with Dev (please)?

The Dev wrote:It's Away for me...almost every time.

I have to agree with Dev on this and say "Away".

You always hear people harping on about how songs just made them break down and cry, without warning, because they were so beautiful, but that's exactly what "Away" did to me when I first ever heard it. I litteraly stopped in my tracks and just broke down in tears.

It's a good sobbing though. Only 3 songs in the world can do that, and 2 of them are Devin related.
Haha, I sound so odd.

Which are the others then? The last few tracks on Terria always hit me hard emotionally, then when the album finishes I'm left feeling very distant and don't say much for a few hours. So its awesome but not very practical. Oh well...

Seventh Wave makes me blub. Night and Earth Day also have a really profound effect on me.

Okay so maybe it's more than 3 songs, haha.

There's a song on each of his albums that gives me similar feelings. It's so therapeutic just to let yourself go in a song and whatever emotion that is being stirred up, to express it however you want.
Deadhead,Tiny Tears,Kingdom,Dynamics,OM,Funeral . As 'jeff albertson' (also known as the comic book guy from the simpsons) would say, "There is no emoticon for what i'm feeling'
