I'm wondering which the public prefer. This will be my last topic on here for a while, because I've noticed I'm making too many =/. So for my excess of topics, I apologise. But please choose either way =].

Chaotic! I like the distortion on the vocals though.

NOw that I know what kinda music you are capable of, I appreciate your kind words for my music that much more.

This is good stuff....can't wait to hear more.

Oh, and I preferred the recorded stuff better.

there isn't actually any distortion on the vocals, I just did them real close to the microphone to get a more rough texture to them, there's chorus on the chorus vocals though (never noticed that coincidence before).

I've got a quite a bit of recorded stuff banging around in sam claytons computer, like two albums worth of it, but it was after system error (and after my microphone died) that I gave up on it because I wasn't very pleased with it. system error was at least more organised than the first album, along with the 11 minute ambient/instrumental thing, but it still lacked that freshly made, superb quality. in fact, all of this music was pretty much off the top of my head, and I just put stuff to it.
the only other song I know the link for is one I put on bandbuzz http://www.bandbuzz.com/MusicProfile?title=crush-crush

argh! I hate my equipment =[. I'm trying to make a new album, but even when I hit the sound I want for a song, the production kills about half of the power of the song ><.

A few times I've said I'm gonna start on a proper new album, and here is the introduction to that album http://www.bandbuzz.com/MusicProfile?title=those-who-dare

It's not bad considering it's just an intro and I'm quite proud of it =].

Cool riff! Yeah, double-tracking the guitars is usually a necessity in production for most kinds of guitar-driven music. The standard for a lot of metal nowadays is to quad-track the guitars; two in each 'ear', usually panned to different degrees (though lots of thrash or more underground bands still just use two tracks, like they used to do back in the 80s). I track the guitars seven times myself, but only because I'm obsessed with such a huge sound.

I used to multitrack guitars in a fashion where I recorded something and then clipped off a very small amount of the time limit so that it made it different and let it go through the other ear properly, but didn't affect the timing noticably. Unfortunately it didn't work all that well =[, so I'll have to do it the scrub-the-deck way.
