not bad at all! Totally dig it
the strings remind me of devin's use of them, they create a nice atmosphere

Sounds like a "A Simple Lullaby" rip-off to me. Check closely and you'll hear the same chord progressions on the main structure of the song. And this just screams blatant rip-offs of Devin's style. To hear something that sounds like Devin, I'd rather hear Devin himself.
Just my opinion, as you asked me to check it out.

its very devin style which is a big influence i can't help it, but i think there are things in it that are very different also.

Earworm just emailed me this song 'October', and I have already decided it rocks. I came to this thread just now to check out the song that sounded like a Devin track (I read this thread at work)...and was surprised to see that they are one and the same!
I can definately hear the Devin influence, I wont deny that...but I really didnt think of Devin while listening to it.
The keys are stunning in this track...really lovely. A superbly mixed track. The drum sound in particular is really lovely, lots of bite.
Love it!

Wow, shame on me for not checking this out sooner!
Amazing song, your use of keyboards/strings is excellent, as others have already mentioned. Very nice lead guitar work, and amazing rhythm guitar tone. Very lush mix throughout.
While I can definately hear the Devin influence, I wouldn't say it's horribly obvious. It's just a good, solid song in a similar style.
