Well. Just take a listen. It's metal music w/growling vox. It was completely recorded at their rehearsal space. And then I did the mixes at my home.

Dude!

...f-f-FUCK!

This is the kind of stuff that I dream about! Both the song and the production!
Bring my best wishes to the band, 'cause they deserve all the credit and reknown they can get.

And you sir, could very well be Mr. Townsends heir to the throne. Hell, if this is your first work, then I can't see any reason you're not going to end up along with greats like Daniel Bergstrand, Colin Richardson, Tue Madsen and so on.

By the way: Where could I find more of this band? This really really rocks!

so yeah
just listened to the first riff repetition and i already dislike you
it's sounding awesome :D

now pausing the posting to listen to the whole thing.

So yeah, finished. Only thing i don't give 10 thumbs up to is the bass, can't really define him too well there. That one just gets 8 or 9 :D

congrats man, keep up the good work ;)

Sounds good... Sleek production. I agree the bass isn't really audible (is there even a bass in there?), and the guitars have a bit too much low end-- that could be the reason, actually-- But overall it sounds good. The production wouldn't sound out of place on a modern metal record. I don't care much for the vocals (they seem somewhat... typical to me and lack personality), but that solo halfway through the song was just heavenly.

Good job overall, this is excellent... Especially for your first production. :D

awesome.. really nice
i agree witht the above about the bass and the vocals for me needed some melody, there were bits where the music was screaming for it....

I dig the band, and the production is great. I'm not a fan of the vox, very generic.. but besides that, awesome stuff:)

This is all very good stuff. The music is really great, I actually like the vocals too although more melody wouldn't go a miss. And the production is impressive. I think too much bass would definately ruin it, but a little more could be introduced.

Other than that, great stuff man! keep it up.

Thanks guys!! I'm so surprised of all the comments. Just awesome :)

The band is Imperanon. Their first album, Staind, was released throught Nuclear Blast. Right now they are looking for a new deal.

This demo is just showing people where they are heading to after their debut album.

basic room? like, nothing special about it at all? Not even some kind of muffling/padding or anything?

just a basic room with tile walls and a window and three drum kits (it's a space for three bands). And there's no mufling/padding whatsoever :)

I can post some pics later of the room.

do so man :D

could you show us a little crop of the song with no production at all, just the original recordings, it would be awesome too :D
