Right, I'm kinda nervous posting this for some reason! Hehe...yes, I just finished work on one of my band's-Tearslicky's new songs, and just wondered what you lot think!? It's not actually the final mix yet, still working on that, but I thought I'd get some feedback from you guys to see if it needs anything else...anyway, babbling again!

Just had a listen to some of your stuff, but had to get your site through your profile. I really liked the first song - Shattered Morning - which had a really cool 80s pop feel on top of all the guitars. The vocals reminded me a bit of Kids In America by Kim Wilde. I really liked that song. The other two were good as well, but I listened to the first the most. You do need to work on the recording a wee bit - the guitars were a bit hard to hear, and quite fuzzy.

2nd edit: Just heard the other song from the link above. Didn't realise that was different! I like that as well. Sounds a lot stronger than some of the other songs.

I really like the song, but I agree that the production lets it down a bit. Guitars are a bit fuzzy. From what I hear I really cant argue at all with the playing though, especially the vocals...really awesome! Is this all you?

Ianlogan123 - The first 3 songs you listened to are pretty old recordings, done in my old living room-hence the dodgy production-but we've actually re-recorded Shattered Morning, it sounds even happier now..but the vocals aren't finished yet (I hate recording vocals! Hehe) so I shall let y'all know when it's all done!

As with the older stuff that Ianlogan123 mentions, this was produced at home..in my bedroom actually...and I don't have a good enough computer to record stuff on (yet ) so it's gonna be somewhat ropey in the production sense no matter how many night's sleep I lose...and I really have lost a lot on this one song..got 4 more to finish..think I should book a holiday! Hehe, anyway, yes..the guitars are fuzzy..sorry..heh..I've not been doing this engineering malarky for very long so I still have much to learn.
It's not ALL me, but mostly! Hehe, I did the guitars, backing vocals, keyboards and the drums.

Anyone else have anything to add?

I've just posted a slightly different mix on our my space profile, which you can find HERE!! It doesn't sound hugely different but in my opinion it's more..erm...balanced. Just to warn you though, when you're streaming it, it sounds like shit! Hehe, so it might be better to download it..

it sounds like you turned up the symbals really loud in the mix, other than that the song is bad fucking ass!!!
