*** DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT SPAM/STREET TEAM BULLSHIT!!! ***

Hey guys, my friend's band is about to release their new CD, Inertia, and I'm looking to hook them up with some press.

I'd review the CD, and I most likely will, but I'm clearly biased, so I'd like to get some outside press for them. I think they kick all kinds of ass, and they're definitely on their way to being signed. Ralph Santolla (Iced Earth, Morbid Angel) is going to record a new demo for them when the drummer's foot heals (he broke it).

Anyway, here are some samples:

Slaves For Scores - Spreading (Demo) (Stream) or Download
Slaves For Scores - Inertia (Demo) (Stream) or Download
Slaves For Scores - Indoctrinate The Flames (Demo) (Stream)
Slaves For Scores - Lifescapes (Demo) (Stream)
Slaves For Scores - Blood Soaked Angel (Demo) (Stream) or Download

^^^ Demos from the Inertia sessions.

Slaves For Scores - Hell Inside (Stream) or Download
Slaves For Scores - Delta/Zeta (Stream)
Slaves For Scores - Veins (Stream) or Download
Slaves For Scores - Razorwrist (Stream) or Download

^^^ Taken from the Hell Inside EP.

If anyone here is interested in them, let me know. I encourage everyone to check them out. They're awesome!! And the drummer, Paul, my friend, is fucking amazing! Gene Hoglan amazing! Seriously.

sounds pretty cool. I'd like to hear what the Inertia songs will sound like with a proper production.

Me, too! I haven't heard them yet. The demos are awesome! I love the acoustics and the solo work.

The Hell Inside EP basically features 3 early demos from when they started, the only newer songs on that EP are "Hell Inside" and "Razorwrist," and I think it shows.

I can't wait until this album is released. It's going to be awesome! Apparently the singer, I don't know him, is friends with Children Of Bodom so that could help them in the future. I guess that's how they got in touch with Ralph Santolla.

Actually, by description I put this in the correct forum.

The general discussion
Talk about whatever you want to here, but stay correct

Fan art and projects
Share and show your art, your music and each ounce of your creativity

This is not my band, nor my music, therefore the General forum is the correct one! Put it back!!

The new CD should be out soon. If you haven't heard them yet, give 'em a try. They kick ass.

Yo mods, can you move this to the correct forum? :D

The "share and show your music" line can fit for bands you play with or bands you support, so this forum is the right place to post this stuff about your friend's band.

If the forums description is the problem, then we will modify it.

If board members show interest then they will post feedback here, if they don't ... Then they don't ...

Geoff, this is old news now. My previous "Yo mods..." comment should have had a smiley after it (since fixed). Of course if no on shows interest then they show no interest (which is absoludicrous).

I do feel like all topics in these other forums would get more attention if they were in the general forum, though. But whatever...

You think? I think the less stuff in the general forum the better, seen as most new threads get pushed off the page quickly due to the number of posts every day. Its good to keep a thread here and update it now and then.

Or something like that.

Well, it depends. I think music-related threads go off better there. Take, for instance, the CD Reviews forum Geoff created. Just look at the old threads I started before Geoff created that forum, I posted those in the General Forum and people responded to them. All the new ones I've created in the Reviews forum, TimCo replies to. Hahaha.

It's like that on all messageboards. The general forum is always the most popular, the other forums are overlooked much more. It's no big deal.
