Firstly, one of my first photo manipulations... Apart from random (and often silly) Photoshop hacks. I swear, most of my art isn't this depressing.
(Click for full size please, kinda ruins it otherwise)

I can't find the original version of the second one, but that rotoscoping/tracing was done sometime earlier this year. The original photo was take last new years.

that's very good! that paint-effect on you, did you achieve that with a filter, or did you re-paint the original image? anyway, it's a very moody and professional looking piece of worl.

ah yes, and your signature rocks! that alone is worth the full resolution :D

Thanks man! Means a lot coming from someone who can actually paint.
Yeah, I painted over an image of me in photoshop to get that effect. No filters used on this image, except a couple of strokes (hurr hurr) on the chainlink part of the fence. If you look really closely you can see a bit of purple/blue glow from that. Everything in here was painted over from a photo, actually... Would that still be photo-manipulation, do you think? :P

Thanks for the comment on my signature, too. I'm pretty proud of it myself. (particularly the grafitti-esque tag part)

of course it is! it's even photo manipulation of the classy, old school kind. that's cool :)
