So, um, apparently all the posts are gone from the HDAS post?

Hmm, okay, it's only when I try to click on the "View latest post" icon which then presents me with a "No posts exist for this topic" message. Perhaps it's a glitch in the Forum itself?

Not necessarily. I had the same problem some time ago with another topic. I had to close out all browser windows with HDForums in it and re-log in. I then found what I was looking for. May be a forum glitch, may be a browser glitch.

I experienced that once in one thread. It was like the last page was pre-prepared with no post in it. When I went one page back, all was cool, but yeah the last page was empty with the text you mentioned.

Hehe, yep. Test successful, now it's normal. It has something to do with counting. *du-uh* End of last page's URL said start=345 when there were only 344 posts, so the last page was empty. Why? Dunno.

That's been a problem in phpBB for quite a while. I guess they don't bother to fix it :P

This is a problem on the forum here that we have recently noticed. I am not sure if we can actually fix it or not. It seems to be caused by removing a post in a certain way. The code doesnt seem to update the 'last post' link as you have just seen.

Hopefully it doesnt create too much trouble!

Had the same problem with the same thread a couple of days ago

Why do threads start with =0 instead of =1?

It's the computer/database way :) It simply has been like that always. 256 = 0 to 255, etc.

Haha, and we expect some intelligence evolving from those delusional circuits.

In computer science, and often mathematics, people traditionally start counting at 0. That's because there are 10 numbers: 0 to 9. After that, we add 1 on the left side and return to 0.

Wrong. There are 10 DIGITS in a decimal system, numbers are infinite.

And we expect something useful coming from those delusional computer scientists.

Futilities, so I used the wrong word. At least you understood what I said :P

Wrong. If you rely on the recipient to work it out what you were trying to say while saying something else, then due to the infinite ways of interpreting your badly chosen word, that little mistake ceases to be a futility. Words are hella important. You are just lucky I'm a nice guy, because really I don't need to understand anything, if I just believed your words, I'd think "shiiit, this dude can only count to 10!"
