Hey folk, a few months back me and a few friends had the bright idea of starting a small software company, make games and such... basically a life long dream of ours and we thought there’s no time like the present.

Anyhoo, the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad are propably the biggest market to get into right now, most units out there and the most customers. So we’re working on our first game as we speak, a musical instrument based game which we’re pretty excited about.
But we decided to make a small and somewhat silly app and release it in the iTunes store. Mostly just to learn more about the ecosystem and release something while we’re working on bigger more time consuming projects.

It’s far from polished and due to some very strict design guidelines and sdk restrictions from Apple not quite what we orignally envisioned. But, we kinda like it.

It’s called Resolver and it’s pretty much decides for you. Can’t decide what to eat, just enter a few choices and the program picks what to eat. Also there’s a simple yes and no generator and a magic eight ball that for legal purposes is nothing like a magic eight ball :P As I said, simple, silly, nothing revolutionary, nothing that doesn’t exist in one form or another already. But it’s pretty handy.

Now I’m posting this not just to spam the boards hoping somebody will try the thing out. But the whole thing was designed and coded while listening to Devin Townsend, mostly Ki and Addicted, mellow and soothing when you’re tired, happy and go lucky when you’re on a roll. So, we decided to thank the man himself in the credits, that’s mostly the reason I posted this. Not just to spam :D

So yeah.... if you’re hanging out in the iTunes store and have 99 cents that you desperatly want to spend on something, I’d consider trying out this tiny little silly app. Help a brother and such :p

I’m sorry if this is too much of a spam post for the boards
Best regards, Hrellir

hahah, as did we. There are some strangely strict rules about the oddest things when making this stuff. WIth some things you have complete freedom, then with the most trivial things everyting's locked down.

For example, you can play around with table cells as you want... but customizing the whole table's well is just... an headache... but it's still fun.
